More Arts and Craft Activities
My favorite craft activity is counted cross stitch, which I’ve documented on another page. Go here to see my latest completed project. Not sure it counts as an activity here because it was a solitary project. But I would have enjoyed teaching a young person to do this type of needlework.
There is also a page here about woodworking. What could be more fun than building a birdhouse with a young person?
When my granddaughter was younger, we did a project where we painted Christmas ornaments after school. She then gave the ornaments to her parents for their Christmas tree.
Also, when my granddaughter was young, I subscribed to some sort of program, where we got different projects every month. One was making a mobile of the planets. Another was making a mobile by outlining her spread out fingers onto paper and painting them white. We even put glitter on them. Then cut them out and sting them on a hanger. They looked amazingly like ghosts for Halloween. I still have that mobile.
