Cedar Crest College Class of 1957 – Class Notes

Cedar Crest College Class of 1957 – This page is dedicated to the online class notes for CCC 1957. If you would like to add information to this page, send it to Mary Wellington or to me at Azgram20@gmail.com.

I am one of your CCC 1957 classmates – Sheryl Feikert Holt – I do online blogging and this page is part of my online blogging site. I hope you will look it over. It is really easy to navigate thru the pages. And I hope you will find some things interesting. The one thing we have to contend with though with this is the Ads that Google may stick in the middle, but it is a way for us to stay in touch. If you have your class image (see mine below), take a picture of it and send it with your email to me.

I am in touch with Lois Levesque Magner McNamara. She was my roommate our first year. She mentioned to me that we had lost one of our other Suitemates – Moo Szeremany. Lois has been in touch with her all these years.

In Addition to Online Class Notes, I offer an insight to what I do

Wednesday Night Wine and Dine Party

Our totally amateur night of fun sharing food recipes and accompanying wine to pair with the meals. Come join us. We never know what will be prepared, but we have really gotten introduced to some wonderful recipes. Last night one of the recipes was what I call a “Lethal” Dessert.

Here is the recipe:

Here’s the recipe for the dessert dish that was done on the Wine & Dine Show – Preheat your oven to 350. Take a 8×12 glass dish and cut up 1 stick of butter. Put the dish in the microwave and melt the butter. Then add Graham Cracker crumbs to the melted butter and form a crust. (I usually use roughly 1/2 to 1 cup. You just need to have a medium thick crust that is firm). Next you start your layers.

This is where it can vary depending on your tastes and preferences.

For instance, my daughter-in-law is allergic to peanuts, so I don’t put the peanut butter chips when I know she’s going to eat it. You are going to make several layers of various flavored chips. Use everything from milk chocolate to Heath Bar chips. I usually use the Milk Chocolate, Peanut Butter, White Chocolate, Butterscotch (always!), then if I have the Heath Bar or any other chip that I like I throw it in to. Just make a layer with each one on top of each other. Then do a layer of chopped pecans. Put a layer of Coconut on top of the nuts. THEN drizzle an entire can of Eagle Brand (sweetened condensed milk) over the entire thing and bake for 30 minutes. Easy Peasy and SO GOOOOD!!
