In this way, you will be introduced to the most premium wines from the Napa Valley. Our club managers make sure of that by going to Napa several times a year to sample the wines that are being aged by exclusive wineries that are under contract with us. When that wine is READY, it is then sent to us for bottling and distribution to you.
Exclusive vs Mass Produced Wine
You are receiving Exclusive Fine Wine that is not mass-produced. It is not ever available in a grocery store. It is only available through the club in limited cases after the initial distribution to the Wine Club members. When the supply is gone, there is no more. The next batch from the same vintner will be just as Fine but Different.
So what about all those bottles on the grocery store shelf that keep repeating and repeating year after year. They are mass-produced by creating a “recipe” and adding ingredients to ferment the grapes more rapidly and always make those wines taste the same. All of those “added ingredients” do not have to appear on the label. The biggest element added is artificial Sulfite, which causes the wine to age faster. But it is also the artificial sulfite that causes the headaches you sometimes get from drinking that wine. While the sulfite is not lethal, some wines even have arsenic added to enhance the flavor. It is supposedly in small amounts but I still am not eager to ingest arsenic.
All wine contains sulfite. However, those aged properly over time generate the sulfite through the aging process. You should never get headaches from Fine Wine aged properly. It is created by the natural fermentation of the grapes. Our bodies can process this sulfite without a problem. It is the artificial sulfite that will get you.
