Sarafina Frankenberry? Brown and XXXXX Brown
Five children Lashley, Charles, Frank, Olive and Bessie
Lashley had one daughter. They lived in rural Virginia.
Charles had one daughter, Margaret. She married and had two children, a boy and a girl.
Frank had several children – Frank Jr, another girl, Delores, Audrey, and Olive Frances (born with rhumatoid arthritis)
Olive was unmarried
Bessie Brown married to William George MacIntosh around 1900. Mac, as he was called, was an immigrant from Scotland. He came to the US through Canada with his father, his mother, two brothers, and two sisters. The mother became ill and opted to return to Scotland to die there. The two sisters returned with her. The boys (my grandfather and his brother) ended up in orphanages for a while. I think the brother’s name was John. He had one son, who was killed in WWII. The only other MacIntosh relative that I was aware of was Esther, who must have been the sister of Mac’s father. I think she was his Aunt.
Bessie was short-lived. She contracted TB and died from it while the girls were quite young. The girls were raised for a time by Sarafina (their grandmother) and then by a “wicked” step-mother Ada. Mac divorced Ada and remarried Betty (or maybe Elizabeth) Fulton, who had one daughter, Marilou Fulton.

Jean Esther MacIntosh Kern married to Ralph Kern – no children
Mabel Mae MacIntosh married (1934) to Orrin Kenneth (Dutch) Feikert (10-23-1908) – three children Sheryl Ann (09-20-1935), William Hugh (09-08-1939) and James Gordon (10-15-1947)
Sheryl Ann Feikert married (03-1955) to Richard Holt – one son Richard Scott (03-28-1956)
Richard Scott married Elizabeth Fardos – one daughter – Nichole Elizabeth (05-17-1992)
William Hugh Feikert married Sandra Ethridge – two daughters Linda Sue (08-05-1963) and Pamela Jean
Linda Sue Feikert Schwoerer Drinkwater- has three children Kayla Scwoerer-Ehrlich (09-20-1988), Kevin Schwoerer(12-22-1989) and Kendall Drinkwater Lines (04-13-1999)
