Conclusion
Dogs and cats are the normal choices for household pets, with fish and birds also in the mix. I also have a pet bunny. He is the perfect pet – quiet and easily contained. I do let him out to run occasionally around the house, but he has to be watched to not go after the electrical cords. He does love to chew. He also is smart and looks for his nighttime pat before we turn off the light.
